What to Expect
All tastings are determined by Sioux Falls Food Tours. There will be a variety of different tastes that should be approximately equivalent to a meal. Every effort will be made to accommodate dietary requests.
Alcoholic beverages are included at some of the stops. Non-alcoholic beverages will be substituted upon request. The majority of tours can accommodate people under 21. If there is an age limit, information will be provided in the tour description.
Sioux Falls Food Tours offers downtown walking tours and additional tours that require vehicle transportation. Tours run rain, shine, snow and all transportation is provided by Sioux Falls Food Tours.
Food, beverages and taxes are included in the cost of the food tour. The majority of the cost is the food and beverage so there is not a discount for multiple registrations. Alcoholic vs non-alcoholic tours are offered at the same price.

Sioux Falls Food Tours was founded in 2017 to showcase the best local culinary establishments in the city. In 2019, seasoned tour guide, Dana Wohlwend, took over ownership and continues to share this passion with locals and visitors alike!

“I got involved in Sioux Falls Food Tours by responding to an ad for a tour guide. Little did I know that a part-time gig would turn into me owning the business!
I LOVE food! I love cooking it, eating it, learning about it. I LOVE the Sioux Falls food scene! I look for every new restaurant/bar/brewery and I want to try everything. I LOVE people. Getting to know people and learning about their stories is so exciting and interesting. Amazingly, I have a business that combines all of my passions into one.
My hope is that because of Sioux Falls Food Tours I can bring attention to the little known places that everyone should know. I want to build up the small business operators that make Sioux Falls such a gem! I want to attract people to Sioux Falls and show them that we are more than a meat and potatoes community.
